This is the day the LORD had made, I will rejoice and be glad in it!  Psalm 118:24

Today is going to be a great day because I just figured out how to get back on my blog.  Do you sometimes feel like nothing seems to go right but then something does and everything is GREAT!

This morning as I studied my lesson for Sunday I saw how God works in the lives of all his creation.  A jewish man named Cornelius had a vision that he was to take the message of Jesus to the gentiles.  This was unheard of because they were considered unclean.  The message from God to Cornelius was do not call what I have created unclean.  The Jewish people prided themselves in being clean and God's chosen people, but now God was reaching out to the one's they considered unclean.  How amazing our God is he offers a gift to all people not just a few.  This is also evident in the Christmas story.  The shepherds, who were also Jewish men and women, were considered undesirable to hang out with because they may have smelled a bit from hanging out with sheep.  But, God sent an angel to give them the first peek at the baby Jesus.  The shepherds were in the fields outside of the city of David and when the Angel came to them and brought them the GOOD NEWS they left their sheep and went to see the baby Jesus.  They were the first to worship him and he lay in the manger.  How awesome!  God loves us no matter if we are rich or poor, clean or dirty, young or old.  God wants each of us to run to Him and worship.

You need to read that Bible it's great for the soul!
